Went to see Sanjay today for OT and was asking him about sound therapy. He assessed Darren and told me that he might not take the sound therapy well, as his head is a bit tight, so he suggested we go to Craniosacral therapy. And meanwhile we will address Darren's sensory issues, and will start him on sound therapy using bone conductors headphone for the vibration. He will lend us his CDs and see if Darren likes the idea. If he doesn't feel comfortable putting on the headphone, then we have no choice. We can't possibly forcing him.
Papa doesn't think that the idea of going to OT & sound therapy is a good idea, but I believe it will help him with his excessive licking as this is sensory issue. So, I guess we must go on no matter how hard it will get, mentally & financially.
